DJ Murphy graduated from Harvard University and Georgetown University Law Center. As an international corporation lawyer, he worked for law firms in New York City, Paris, and midwest America, representing large multinational companies. He also worked pro bono publico to assist refugees seeking asylum from political or religious persecution. In 1999 he retired from the practice of law in order to teach and to write. He taught for five years as a Visiting Professor at Ecole Supérieure de Commerce in Bordeaux, France. This is his first novel.
The author contributes ten percent (10%) of net royalties he derives from this book to nongovernmental organizations providing humanitarian assistance to refugees.
